Bihar Board Class 10th Exam 2025 Begins Today: The Bihar School Examination Board is all set to start the BSEB Matric Exam 2025 on February 17, 2025. Class 10 or matriculation annual exams will end on February 25, 2025. The BSEB Matric exam will be conducted in two shifts.
The first shift will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, followed by the second shift from 2 pm to 4:45 pm. The exam is scheduled to be held at 1,585 centers located in 38 districts across the state.
A total of 16,94,781 applicants are expected to appear in the examination. Of these, 8,22,587 will be male candidates while 8,72,194 will be female.
BSEB has set up a control room for students, parents, and others, which will operate from February 16 to February 25, 2025. In case of any problem during the examination period, individuals can contact the control room on the following telephone numbers: 0612-2232257 and 0612-2232227.
BSEB Matric Exam Important Instructions
- Admit Card: Candidates must carry their admit card to the examination center on all examination days.
- Reporting Time: All candidates must reach the examination center 30 minutes before the scheduled time. For the first shift, candidates will have to arrive by 9 am, and for the second shift, candidates will have to arrive by 1:30 pm.
- Reading Time: In all shifts, candidates will be given an initial period of 15 minutes to read and understand the questions.
- Special Accommodation: Visually impaired and handicapped candidates who cannot write independently will be allowed to have a scribe. These candidates will get additional time of 20 minutes per hour as compensation.
Candidates are advised to follow these instructions carefully for smooth and orderly examination process.
Bihar Board Matric Exam 2025 Timing
The examination sessions will be divided into two shifts, morning and afternoon. The morning session is scheduled to take place from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, while the afternoon session will be held between 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
Each BSEB Matric exam will last for 3 hours and 15 minutes, with the first 15 minutes dedicated to students reviewing the question paper. Students must reach the examination center with sufficient time before the scheduled time.
For examinations starting at 9:30 am, students will have to reach the examination venue by 9 am. Similarly, for examinations starting at 2 pm, candidates will have to reach by 1:30 pm. They need to carry BSEB Admit Card 2025 and a valid ID proof.
Arrangements at Bihar Board Examination Center
- Candidates will have to go through a thorough screening process before entering the examination hall. It is necessary to ensure that no candidate has any kind of copied material or electronic devices.
- Videography has also been arranged at the examination centers.
- To maintain peace and order, static magistrates, senior static magistrates, police officers, armed police forces, and zonal and super zonal magistrates have been appointed at each examination center.
- Also, candidates are prohibited from wearing shoes and socks during the examination. Center superintendents have been instructed to maintain cleanliness in the center and make necessary arrangements for toilets, drinking water, and lighting.
- Candidates will be strictly prohibited from using any kind of electronics, gadgets, mobile phones etc. within the examination centres.
- CCTV cameras have been installed outside each examination center and at important locations to keep an eye on any disruptive behavior.
- Prohibitory orders under Section 144 will remain in force within a radius of 200 meters of the examination centre.
It has been told that for the successful conduct of Bihar Matriculation Examination 2025, a control room has been set up by Bihar School Examination Committee, Patna. The control room will remain continuously operational from 6 am on 17 February 2025 to 6 pm on 25 February 2025.
