The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon declare the Class 10 and 12 results, indianexpress.com is confirming with the board.
An earlier version of this report stated that the results would be declared on May 11, but the official date is yet to be announced. A senior CBSE official has confirmed to indianexpress.com that the notice which is going viral on various platforms is fake.
Once released, students can check their result at cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbseresults.gov.in, and cbse.gov.in by entering their name and roll number.
CBSE Class 10th 12th Result 2023
CBSE Class 10 exams were conducted from February 15 to March 21 and the exams were conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. 21.87 lakh students registered for CBSE Class 10 exam in 2023.
In 2022, around 20 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 board exams. For 2022, the CBSE Board Class 10 Exam 2022 was conducted in a bifurcated format which means the Term 1 exam was in November-December, and the Term 2 exam was in May-June. The board declared the result by combining the marks of both terms.
In 2022, the overall pass percentage was 94.40 percent as compared to 91.46% in 2020 and 91.10% in 2019.
CBSE Class 10th Result 2023 Passing Marks
As per the board’s guidelines, students need to score a minimum of 33 percent marks in 5 or more subjects to pass in the CBSE 10th result. This 33 percent includes either 5 core subjects or 4 subjects and 1 optional subject.
