The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE will soon declare the CBSE Result 2023. As per the reports, CBSE 10th result and CBSE 12th result are expected to be released in this week of May itself. Once declared, candidates will be able to check it on the official websites – cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
The evaluation of Class 10 answer sheets was over around April 16, 2023, and the Class 12 evaluation was completed in the last week of April. Based on this input, CBSE is now preparing to declare the result.
CBSE Board Exam 2023 started on February 15, 2023. While class 10th exams ended on March 21, 2023, class 12th exams ended on April 5, 2023. According to CBSE, around 21 lakh students appeared in the 10th board exams and around 16 lakh appeared in the 12th board exams. The result of the same is expected to come soon.
No term-wise exam this year
In 2023, CBSE board will conduct an exam. The board has decided to do away with term wise exam pattern. Hence, CBSE Board Exam 2023 was conducted only once. Since the board went back to the once a year exam pattern, the marking scheme was also changed accordingly.
This year CBSE Board Exam 2023 started on February 14, 2023 for both class 10 and class 12. Class 10 board exams ended on March 21 and class 12 exams on April 5, 2023.
CBSE Board Result 2023 Passing Marks
To pass the CBSE board exam, students have to score at least 33% marks in each subject. Students have to obtain passing marks in both internal and external papers.
Internal papers consist of assignments, projects and class tests while external papers are final examinations. Candidates who fail to secure the minimum passing marks can apply for the student compartment exam.
