Directorate of Matriculation Schools – Directorate Of School Education Tamilnadu Address

The Matriculation School is a self-financing institution. Originally matriculation schools were under the control of the universities of Madras and Madurai.

And these schools with a different identity of their own, the Matriculation School, while being affiliated with these two universities, had financial autonomy as well as functional autonomy.

He was brought under the control of the Directorate of School Education in the year 1978 for administrative convenience. At that time the total number of schools was around 20.
