Pass Marks in BSEB Class 12th Exams
BSEB asks 50 percent MCQ and 50 percent short and long answer type questions in theory. Students are not required to obtain separate pass marks in Objective and Subjective (Theory). The marks obtained in both sections are combined. Even if a student gets 20 marks in the objective section and only 1 mark in the subjective section of Physics, he/she will be declared passed.
In the compulsory theory paper of 50 marks, RB non-Hindi, and optional English or Hindi, the passing mark in each paper is 15. Pass marks in subjects like Psychology, Entrepreneurship, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc. out of 30 marks in practical, 21 out of 70 in theory, and 12 out of 30 in practical exams. In all, there are 33 pass marks. The passing mark is 30 in theory subjects of 100 marks.
