Bihar School Examination Board has announced the Bihar School Holidays 2024 Calendar for the session 2024. Summer vacation in Bihar schools will be for 30 days from April 15, 2024, to May 15, 2024, unlike 20 days last year. While announcing the school holidays, the board also said that the holiday calendar has been structured in such a way that 220 instructional days are completed under the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
It also states that all government, state, and minority-aided Urdu schools covering primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels will have to follow the same calendar. There will be a weekly holiday on Friday in Urdu primary, middle, and higher secondary schools including Maktab. However, these schools will remain open on Sunday.
